Subscription & Billing Terms

These Subscription & Billing Terms (“Billing Terms”) govern purchases of paid subscriptions on the AutoGnome platform and are incorporated into our Terms of Service. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Billing Terms. Where there is a conflict between these Billing Terms and the Terms of Service, these Billing Terms govern for billing-related matters.
All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. AutoGnome does not store your payment card details.
1. Subscription Plans
AutoGnome offers several subscription tiers for automotive businesses. Current plan details, pricing, and included features are published on our Pricing page. Plan details are subject to change in accordance with Section 10 (Price Changes) below.
All paid plans provide access to enhanced listing features, analytics, scheduling tools, and other capabilities beyond the free tier. A paid subscription does not guarantee any particular ranking in search results — see our Terms of Service §6 on how rankings work.
2. Free Listings
A basic listing on AutoGnome may be available at no charge, subject to approval and the limitations of the free tier. Free listings include standard directory display and do not include enhanced features such as scheduling, analytics, featured placement, or priority support.
AutoGnome reserves the right to modify or discontinue the free tier at any time with reasonable notice.
3. Billing & Payment
3.1 Billing cycle
Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis — monthly or annually, depending on the plan you select. Your billing cycle begins on the date your subscription is activated and renews automatically on the same date each period.
3.2 Automatic renewal
Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date (see Section 7). By subscribing, you authorize AutoGnome and Stripe to charge your payment method on file for each renewal period.
3.3 Payment methods
We accept major credit and debit cards as supported by Stripe. You must provide a valid payment method to activate a paid subscription and keep it up to date for continued service.
3.4 Invoices
A receipt is emailed to your registered email address after each successful payment. You may access your billing history from your account dashboard or by contacting support.
3.5 Subscription approval & activation
Paid subscription features activate upon confirmation of a successful payment and any applicable admin approval of your listing. AutoGnome reserves the right to decline a subscription application or suspend a subscription where the associated listing violates our Terms of Service.
4. Taxes
Prices displayed are exclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. AutoGnome may collect and remit sales tax, value-added tax (VAT), or similar taxes as required by the laws of your jurisdiction. The applicable tax will be displayed during checkout and included on your invoice.
You are responsible for any taxes applicable to your business that arise from your use of the Platform. If you are tax-exempt, you must provide appropriate documentation prior to purchase.
5. Failed Payments & Account Suspension
If a payment fails, we will retry the charge according to the following schedule:
- Day 1: Initial charge attempt fails — notification email sent.
- Day 3: First retry.
- Day 7: Second retry.
- Day 14: Final retry. If this fails, your subscription is suspended.
During the retry window, your listing remains active. If all retries fail and your subscription is suspended, your listing will be deactivated and removed from public search results until payment is resolved. Your data is retained for 30 days, after which it may be permanently deleted.
To reinstate a suspended subscription, update your payment method in your account dashboard and make the outstanding payment. Reinstatement restores your listing and subscription features from the date of reinstatement — we do not credit time lost during suspension caused by payment failure.
6. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard or by contacting support@autognome.app.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until that date. After the billing period ends:
- Your listing will revert to the free tier (if available) or be deactivated.
- Enhanced features (analytics, scheduling, featured placement) will be disabled.
- Your listing data and account information are retained for 60 days, after which you may request deletion.
Cancelling a subscription does not delete your account or listing data. If you wish to delete your data, submit a separate request to privacy@autognome.app.
7. Refund Policy
Monthly subscriptions: Payments are generally non-refundable. If you cancel a monthly subscription, you retain access through the end of the current billing period but will not receive a refund for that period.
Annual subscriptions: If you cancel an annual subscription within 14 days of your initial purchase and have not used the enhanced features (including scheduling, analytics, or featured placement), you may request a full refund. After 14 days, annual subscriptions are non-refundable.
Exceptions: We may issue refunds at our discretion in cases of verified billing errors, duplicate charges, or service outages attributable to AutoGnome exceeding 72 consecutive hours. To request a refund, contact support@autognome.app with your account details and a description of the issue.
Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
8. Upgrading & Downgrading Plans
Upgrades
When you upgrade to a higher plan, the change takes effect immediately. You will be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the current billing period at the new plan rate. Your next full billing cycle will be charged at the new plan rate.
Downgrades
When you downgrade to a lower plan, the change takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle. You retain your current plan’s features until that date. Downgrades do not result in a prorated refund for the current period.
9. Price Changes
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing at any time. For existing subscribers, price changes take effect at the start of the next billing cycle after at least 30 days’ notice. Notice will be provided via email to your registered address and/or by posting an announcement on the Platform.
If you do not wish to accept a price change, you may cancel your subscription before the new price takes effect. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date of a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
10. Suspension & Termination by AutoGnome
AutoGnome may suspend or terminate your subscription and/or listing without refund if:
- You violate our Terms of Service or these Billing Terms.
- Your listing contains false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
- We receive credible reports of illegal activity associated with your business.
- We are required to do so by law or a valid court order.
In cases of termination for cause, no refund of any prepaid subscription fees will be issued. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice before termination except where doing so would create risk of harm or violate a legal obligation.
11. Relationship to Terms of Service
These Billing Terms are incorporated into and form part of our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Service. All provisions of the Terms of Service that are not in conflict with these Billing Terms continue to apply to your subscription.

If you believe a charge on your statement is incorrect, please contact us before initiating a chargeback. We are typically able to resolve billing disputes faster than the chargeback process and are committed to making it right.
